When you use Choralize, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, and profile data you provide during registration.
• Audio files you upload for processing. These are stored temporarily and deleted after processing or on account deletion.
• Usage data: job types, timestamps, and processing metadata.
• Payment information is handled by Stripe — we never store credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Process audio files and generate SATB harmonization results.
• Manage your account, credits, and subscription.
• Improve our AI models and processing quality.
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset).

3. Data Storage & Retention

Uploaded audio files and generated results are stored for up to 30 days. You can delete individual jobs or your entire account at any time. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 7 days.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management.
• Google OAuth — Optional social login.
• Resend — Email delivery for verification and notifications.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
• API keys and tokens are stored securely.
• Regular security audits and dependency updates.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Delete your data and account.
• Export your data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
